Hope you've had a lovely weekend! Just a reminder of what we've got coming up at St Lawrence this week - details are below. We are about to enter Week 2 on the hot dinner menu.

Wednesday 16th October

• Year 3 have their 6th swimming session this morning.
• Today is our PTA Autumn Games event after school! Please send your child in with their PE kit (or clothes that can get wet) if they're taking part. The event starts straight after school and finishes at 5pm - if your child's booked to go to Owls after school, they will be taken there. Please come to the KS2 yard at the end of the event and we will dismiss all children through the Larks 'n' Owls hall door.

Friday 18th October

• This week it's Year 1's turn to host the PTA cake sale, and all funds raised will go straight to Miss Foster to spend on the children. All donations of cakes or biscuits will be very gratefully received and we do hope you'll join us at the end of the day.
• Year 2 have an extra PE session on the afternoon of Friday 18th October so please ensure Y2 children have their PE kits in school on that day. 

General Reminders

• All families have been sent a link to give consent for children to have the flu vaccination in school on 5th November. Please ensure you give consent by 20th October if you wish your child to be given the vaccination. 
• Just a reminder that the school landline is now working again! If you want to contact the office, you should now be able to use our usual number: 01926 812 447.
• If you have a child who'll be entering Reception in September 2025, or you know anyone who does, we have an Open Morning coming up soon on Tuesday 22nd October (more details are in last Friday's Journal, and on our school Facebook page). You can book a tour by emailing or phoning the school office.
