At St Lawrence, music is something that brings us together. We are very fortunate to have many peripatetic music teachers who provide a lessons for a variety of instruments. We also have a school orchestra, which many of our children take part in. They play during our collective worship, church services and village events.   We enjoy the experience of whole-school singing, ensemble playing and experimenting with the creative process and performing.

Our whole school music curriculum provides our children with the chance to enjoy music, giving all children access to a high quality musical education. We aim to demonstrate to our children that music connects us through people and places in our ever-changing world. It is creative, collaborative, celebratory and challenging.
